Title : Institutional environment and organizational design: a cross-country approach

Most of researchers in the field of transaction cost economics agree on the idea that the private organizational arrangements are influenced by the institutional environment in which they are designed. But such a thesis raises a series of empirical challenges in terms of sampling, measure and econometrics. A recent stream of literature has tackled this critical issue through the lens of cross-country comparisons. The workshop is dedicated to the state of the art in that field.
